The creators of Clarity about Charity are Lily and Ashley. Ashley created the fantastic artwork and the Where page (local). Lily created the Home page, the How page, the Where page (international), and the Why page. We decided to create the website because we found that local charities didn't get enough support from the townsfolk. It is very important to show others kindness, even if they're not apart of this country.
Our school, LMS, is becoming an IB school or an International Baccalaureate school. IB schools have students that perform better, and we will be encouraged to think independently, we will become more culturally aware, and we will rapidly change the world for the better. For more on the benefits of being a part of an IB school check out, http://www.ibo.org/en/benefits/benefits-for-students/ , it's a great website.
We were required to create a community service project to pass the grade. Right away we were excited, the project was so open ended, we could do just about anything to help our community. After some discussion we decided to create a website. We had never done this before, so it would have been a learning process but a fun one. I hope you enjoy our project, we have enjoyed every moment of creating it.

Hi, My name is Lily. I enjoy playing soccer for Liverpool and I love researching. I find happiness in finding questions that I need to research for. When I was younger I didn't truly understand why charities needed donations. Now that I'm older I understand why they need donations and I want to help others and inform them why charities need money so that they can help others that really need help.
Hi, I'm Ashley! I drew most of the images for Clarity about Charity. I always loved animals as a kid and really wanted to donate to a local animal shelter, but I never knew how. So me and Lily have created this website to inform others on how to donate and volunteer.

Please note that for a charity to be included on the list it must be nonprofit and be peaceful (which means no charities that pose a direct threat to human, animal, or plant lives, including animal shelters that euthanize animals.)
